- 1/4 cup cashew nuts, soaked in warm water and ground to a paste
- 2 tablespoons fresh coriander leaves, chopped, for garnish
Instructions:
- Heat ghee or oil in a pan or skillet over medium heat.
- Add finely chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for another couple of minutes until the raw aroma disappears.
- Stir in tomato puree, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Cook the mixture until the oil
starts to separate from the tomato gravy. - Lower the heat and add the cashew nut paste. Mix well and cook for a few minutes until the gravy thickens.
- Pour in fresh cream and milk. Stir continuously and simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens further and
is well combined. - Now, add the cubed paneer (cottage cheese) to the sauce. Gently stir to coat the paneer with the creamy tomato
gravy. - Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the paneer is heated through.
- Garnish with chopped fresh coriander leaves.
